Surprise surprise

Hello :)

So another week is over and nothing reat special happend - i had to start work at 7am :( and the consequences are that my body isnt in the mood to sleep in anymore :D so on sunday, where I could sleep in I woke up at 6:30!!!!!! 

So on sunday I went back to manhattan again to meet Julia, another AuPair who is living to far away from me :(

We made a cool bus tour - i bought the tickets online (actual price for 2 people $75 - i bought them for $29 a really good deal huh?! :D )

Anyway this tour was cool and we saw downtown manhattan :)

It was sooo damn hot and sunny :0

Again some shopping :) 

It was really nice to meet Julia and we're already planning to go to some clubs the next week :)

And today is maybe my best day ever!

MY SISTER IS HERE!! I still cant believe it! She was just standing at my housedor and i was kinda shocked, i mean. My sister, here in america, that is fucking awesome!!

And some of my friends got something for me in her luggage, damn I'm so happy :))

... And they want me to get fat :D :D

So I'll spend the next days with my sister, I'm so excited :)

I love New York

Hello, I'm back!

I had again a quiet easy week :)

I finally have my college stuff together and can't wait to start!

           - class of criminal justice -

This weekend was veeery veery cool!

On saturday afternoon i drove with the train to Minna. We walked a little bit in Westfield Downtown, had dinner at a Diner and finally went to the movies.

We watched 'Prisoners', the new movie with Hugh Jackmann - it was a very good movie! It was a quiet long movie (around 2 hours) and very dark but never boring!

After the movie we went to a joghurt place to have some frozen joghurt - yummie :)

The next day we took the bus to Manhattan, because there was an AuPair picnic going on :)

We met in the Central Parc some really nice Aupairs and talked for about 1,5 hours together :)

After this we took the Subway to Brooklyn, because the weather was nice and we wanted to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. 

It was sunny the whole day and I think I got my face sunburned :D

I'm finally home and after a long shower I feel allive :D!!

It was a very good weekend and I'm so glad I still have contact to Minna :)

Breakfast :)

I know, the american food is not the healthiest one so I'm trying to eat healthy - at least for breakfast and lunch :D :D

And thank god that my family is very healthy, too! Thats why we're always having fruits at home :)

For breakfast I'm eating Joghurt with fruits and chocolatechip oat - veeery veery delicious :)

Ski House

The last weekend I spent my time atthe ski house.
It was so much fun :)!!!

We spent our day at the ski house and my family showed me the ski area - it was really cool and I can't wait to come back when the snow is there :)!! (they own a few snowmobiles and I can't wait to try them :D :) )
D. brought his Rhino and and ATV to the ski house and we made a tour - I was allowed to drive the ATV and I had soooo much fun :)!! 

I love the ATV :) and this beautiful view :)!!








All in all it was a great weekend with my family up in the mountain and I can't wait to come back :)

School, Gym and more!

Hello Hello, it's me again :)

I hope you all had a good week!

My week was great ...

... SCHOOL STARTS! :D this means that my kids are almost the whole day in school and I have some free time :)

I brought A. and J. to their school bus on monday and when I came back in the house it was so damn quiet, felt like something is wrong :o :D

So I enjoyed my first day of 'freedom' :)

Had some time to make me a delicious breakfast :) - greece joghurt with grapes, bananas and some oats with chocolate, so YUMMIE!!

On monday I went together with Michelle and Laura to my college to get my student ID, so cool I can't wait to start college :)!

Tuesday was a funny day, too! I finally went to a gym (the Work-out-Worl) and signed me in! I also stopped at the bank and the post office, pretty cool that all those stores are close to each other so I dont have to drive so much, although the gas is here very, very cheap :D! To fill up my car with gas costs me around 45€ and thats nothing, I mean I'm driving a truck not a little car :D !!!

The last week was sooooo humid you couldn't breathe or stay out for long. The temperature was around 94 degrees fahrenheit, which is 34 degrees celsius and very very hot !! 

I went two times to the gym this week and my muscles are already hurting, not cool but at least I know I did something and as you say 'No Pain No Gain' :D

This weekend my family invited me to come to their skihouse up in the mountains in Windham, New York :)

Travel

I love traveling! It's the best thing ever. You can see new things, new cultures and their history and get to know awesome people :)!

I hope I can travel as much as I can during my year here in America, because I would like to see so much here!!

First of all it was my dream to see New York City and now it's the closest city nearby :D!

Next I would like to go back to Redwood City/San Francisco, to see my family :)

Weekend

Hello blogfriends!

It's sunday night and I can't sleep - hurraay -.-'!

So I'm updating my blog now, at least something :D

Nothing much happend after my last post - well except that Minna came over to my house and we had a great time together! 

E.'s birthday was on saturday, my hostmums family came over and we had a little party :) at night i drove together with Minna back to the mall and the CHEESECAKE FACTORY -> yep we had some cheesecakes again :)

After the 'little' snack and some shopping we went straight on to the movie theater where we met Debbie, another AuPair, to watch 'This is the end'. And oh my god, this was the weirdest movie ever!! I was speechless - it was funny and scary and weird, I mean a non-sense movie, but it was really good. Really I can't believe it :D

Today we went to the 'Jersey Shore Premium Outlets', which is around 20 minutes away - so really close :) 

Shopping, shopping and shopping thats all I can say. Well at least it wasn't so expensive, because most of my stuff were cheaper :) 

All I can say that it was such a great weekend and I can't wait for the next sleepover :) 

(And minna, I LOVE your cookies :b)

Time flies!

Hey guys :)

I'm baack! I know it's a late update :D

The last weeks were busy and I saw a lot! My working week was hard, because my two girls came back from their holiday and you know, brothers and sisters the endless hatelove :D

But my last weekend was so damn great! I went with three other Aupairs (Anna, Laura and Melli) to Washington D.C, Philadelphia and Baltimore :)!

It was a great trip and we started on saturday with a bus to Washington. Our Tourguides name is Tony and he is chinese, so it was very difficult to understand his english even if we tried! Except us and four chinese people we traveled with indian people, which was very fun, because they couldn't understand Tony neither :D!! 

We arrived in Washington and we saw so much!

Thats the US Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial, the white house and me!:)

It was so humid and the sun was soo hot this day, we were so happy as we went back into the cold bus :D!

Our Hotel was very nice, too! We stayed at the 'Metro Points' Hotel. It was very cool and I would go back and stay some nights there! 

The next day we drove to Baltimore. It was again a really nice and sunny day and we saw the Inner Harbour :)

After this we went to Philadelphia, to see the Liberty Bell, which was really cool! 

After this trip we went back home!

I can say, this was an amazing weekend with my girls :))!!

Yesterday was H. Birthday and my hostdad hosted the party in our house - my first american birthday party :)!

It was soo cool, the cake was soo huge and sweet, but so delicious :D

I met new people and had a lot of fun :)!

I can't wait for this weekend! Tomorrow I'm finally going to the beach 😍! Saturday is E.'s birthday and we're hosting again a party at our house :b 

And Minna is coming -> BACK TO THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY <3! :D

She's going to sleep over and on sunday we're going shopping again :D - but we're going to an outlet and I can't wait :)! 

Well thats all for the moment, summer is over :( !

Next week I'm here for TWO MONTHS! I can't believe it, but it was the best decision I ever made :)
